ABOUT THE BAND
The Ariston, an indie/alternative band formed and fronted by Luca Slade and Will Parsonson (bass) in 2021, later to be joined by Finn Bunce (drums) and Nathan ‘Nate’ Melhuish (guitar), creates deeply emotional music rooted in vulnerability and personal growth. Their lyrics explore themes of heartbreak, grief, and identity, offering a cathartic experience for their fans, known as 'The Aristans'.
With influences ranging from The Kooks to Arctic Monkeys, their sound blends classic guitar-driven indie with a fresh, yearning energy. Following the success of singles like 'Yellow Lines' and 'The Festival,' they were nominated for Songs Behind the Music's Breakthrough Artist of the Year 2024. This year the band is poised for even bigger things, with their upcoming track 'Simona' set for release and to be distributed by Universal Music.
They're gaining attention worldwide and preparing for major shows, including a support slot for The Lottery Winners at the O2 Academy Bristol. Their music connects emotionally, offering a sense of belonging and pride for listeners.
